While not a superhero, I have two professional identities: A nonprofit manager by day and a novelist by night (and weekends...and days off). I received a BA in English from Valparaiso University, and hold a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Minnesota. My writing has been published in American Literary Realism, and a chapter from my completed novel, REVISING THE CATCH-UP PLAN, was selected as a Finalist in the 2012 Loft Literary Center Mentor Series Competition. I live with my husband and our dog in St. Paul, Minnesota, where I enjoy neighborhood walks (except in the winter), hot chocolate (except in the summer) and cozy blankets (all year round).
